Shooting has wrapped for the upcoming music video for Murderer of Souls (Chopper Franklin remix) from the just-released Heathen Apostles Requiem For A Remix album. The video was directed by the Heathen Apostles and shot by Harmony Gerber at the Devil’s Doghouse Studios, and it is slated for a May 2016 release. You can preview Requiem For A Remix HERE.
The release weekend for the new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix went insanely well as was hoped. Thursday saw the release of the Requiem promo video (watch it HERE), Friday evening included an appearance on 88.9 KXLU’s Stella Stray Pop show followed by a visit to DJ Meikee Magnetic at The Happy Haus night. The weekend capped off with the Heathens playing Bar Sinister in Hollywood, thanks to all that tuned in, rocked out and have been supporting the Heathen Apostles throughout the years. The new Heathen Apostles album Requiem For A Remix will be out April 8th on Ratchet Blade Records, it will feature remixes by Chopper Franklin, Almighty Watching, Phantom of the Black Hills and will also have unreleased tracks and demos. Come celebrate the release with the band at their show at Bar Sinister (at Boardner’s in Hollywood) on April 9th.
The Heathen Apostles are returning to Bar Sinister in full force on Saturday April 9th, be sure and make it down, they will be debuting new songs from their upcoming releases, due out this Spring! The Heathen Apostles’ special February acoustic appearances wrapped this past Saturday with a full band set at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. The band will be back in their full acoustic/electric Gothic Roots glory at Bar Sinister (at Boardner’s) in Hollywood on Saturday April 9th. The Heathen Apostles’ Mather Louth appeared on the TradioV’s Po Show (hosted by Polina Hryn) along with other guests Jessamyn Rose and Holly West. She was interviewed about the Heathen Apostles 2016 plans, along with questions relating to her costume designing and modeling. The Heathen Apostles have 2 special acoustic shows in February, the first at Cafe NELA in Cypress Park, Ca. on the 13th (as a trio) and at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. on the 20th (as a quartet), be sure and try and make it down, they will be playing songs they may not play live again.
